Enoteca Casa Maffei
Il progetto è collocato nelle cantine di un'antica dimora signorile, caratterizzate da assenza di luce e da un’atmosfera severa data dalle buie pareti in sasso e soffitti che abbassano l’ambiente.
In questo contesto apre un’enoteca che si rivolge ad un pubblico giovane dal gusto sofisticato, attento alle tendenze e sempre alla ricerca di nuove emozioni. La sfida del progetto è quella di trasformare questi vani in uno spazio leggero e conviviale, piacevole e allo stesso tempo sorprendente.
Il carattere cupo dell’interrato viene colto come occasione per creare un ambiente onirico che richiami l’ambiente naturale del sottobosco e della natura incontaminata, gli spunti sono liberamente tratti dalla fiaba 'Alice nel paese delle meraviglie'. Il sotterraneo diventa il mondo fantastico che la protagonista attraversa addormentandosi: si scende nel sottosuolo per trovare sogno e svago in cui lasciarsi la quotidianità alle spalle e rilassarsi in compagnia di amici. Una serie di fuori scala e di dettagli scoordinati vogliono appositamente allontanare la mente dai soliti locali arredati con standardizzata rigidità, cercando di stupire e catturare l’osservatore.
The project is located in the cellars of an ancient noble home, characterized by the absence of light and a severe atmosphere given by the dark stone walls and ceilings that lower the environment.
In this context, he opens a wine shop that caters to a young audience with a sophisticated taste, attentive to trends and always looking for new emotions. The challenge of the project is to transform these rooms into a light and convivial space, pleasant and at the same time surprising.
The dark character of the basement is taken as an opportunity to create a dreamlike environment that recalls the natural environment of the undergrowth and uncontaminated nature, the ideas are freely drawn from the fairy tale 'Alice in Wonderland'. The basement becomes the fantastic world that the protagonist crosses when falling asleep: you go underground to find dreams and entertainment in which to leave stressfull everyday life behind and relax in the company of friends. A series of oversized and uncoordinated details purposely want to take the mind away from the usual rooms furnished with standardized rigidity, trying to amaze and capture the observer.
